Major Landforms of Georgia
There are many beautiful and scenic landforms in Georgia. I will be talking about 5 major ones. These five landforms are the Okefenokee Swamp, the Fall Line, Appalachian Mountains, Chattahoochee River, and the Savannah River.
Okefenokee Swamp
This swamp in North America's largest swamp. It's located in the Outer Coastal Plain. It is the largest "blackwater" swamp in North America. The Okefenokee Swamp also borders Florida.

Okefenokee Swamp
This swamp in North America's largest swamp. It's located in the Outer Coastal Plain. It is the largest "blackwater" swamp in North America. The Okefenokee Swamp also borders Florida.
Fall Line
The Fall Line is located in between the Piedmont and Coastal Plain regions. After you pass the Fall Line all the soil becomes kind of like sand and it isn't as fertile anymore.
Appalachian Mountains
Georgia's three northern regions are made up of this chain of mountains. These mountains are a very beautiful and a great place to spend a vacation. The natural resources of the Appalachian Mountains is coal, zinc, titanium
, oil, gas, and aluminum.
Savannah River
This very river separates Georgia and South Carolina, so basically it runs along their borders. Coal and gold are natural resources of the Savannah River.
Chattahoochee River
Flows from the North Georgia mountains, South into the Gulf of Mexico. This river also runs through Atlanta, the capitol of Georgia. Fishing is very popular in the Chattahoochee River and fish is the main natural resource for the Chattahoochee River.
